During the course of an argument, a colleague was saying “…. you will do, I will do, he will do; but no browser will do that”. It took a few seconds for me to understand his statement - What has browsers got to do with what he and I can do ?!!

Funny English - what else will you call a person who browses ??

I simply can’t resist posting this piece :-)

“And that will be a configuration setting. I’ll explain that to you some time. Basically, like your web.xml, it’ll be an xml file, Every time we need to make some thing configurable, we add it in that file.”

– My first tryst with “Configuration” that happened some 15 months ago… Thats my friend explaining to me what is meant by “configuring something” !! Hit upon this when I was browsing through my old academic archives !!

Two men in white coats made India lose a test match against a team of 11 crooks who call themselves the champions! However its not absolutely correct to blame the 2 white coats alone - we could not even stand there for a couple of sessions with 8 wickets in hand (2 were already stolen, one each by the white coats and the foul playing crooks) and we should be worried about that.. Being a good captain, Kumble accepted this sorry truth! But what makes one feel angry is the fact that clarke has even got the courage to come on tv claiming that he took Sourav’s catch cleanly and defending the white coats as well!

In the middle of all this mayhem, Sachin scored his record 38th ton and is now just 421 runs behind Lara and the SCG audience applauded his innings by putting up a lovely placard - “Commit all your crimes when Sachin is batting. They will go unnoticed because even the Lord is watching.”
