At last Exams and with them, my 7th semester, got over today… This marks the end of a very boring and a tedious semester in my graduation course.. So now i ve got to start working on my project which undoubtedly is a daunting task…  The coming semester is going to be the last time I m gonna study in my life. But, who knows !!

And I will be going to Coimbatore for ACM ICPC Regionals Contest on this December 16, 17 2006.. Eagerly looking forward to it!!

HURRAY !!! No more Labs..

It all started when I stepped into AU on 17th July 2003. Labs!! They are a part and parcel of our college life. And today, its all over.. What started in a Chemistry Lab (OMG! pipettes and burettes.. ) ended in a Software Systems Development Lab today 3rd November 2006.

So wats it all about ? Weekly exercises, records, assessments, internals, projects and semester exams… In between all these, Quake, Unreal, NFS etc are played with a lot of passion.. It became even worse (or better, for the concerned ppl) in this semester with songs and movies being played in lab..

I was eagerly awaiting this day for long, because i cant imagine how life would be wen there is no lab sessions which wud consume 8-10 hours in a week..
This also marks the end of my 7th semester. And the only thing thats left is Semester Exams !! Thats on Nov 9th.. Hope i do well !!

Prashanth, Venkatanathan and myself (Team Cornucopia) contested in ACM ICPC ‘06 Regionals Coimbatore on Oct 28th and got 16th rank. We did 2 problems out of the 4 given. I solved 1 problem and my partners did 1 more.

We have qualified for the onsite contest in Coimbatore to be held on 16, 17 December 2006. I am happy that we qualified, even though the online contest was pretty simple.. :) So off we go to Coimbatore in December.. In our college, around 5-6 teams have qualified. But our team is the first among the teams from our college !!
